Analyzing #SayNoToXenophobia

According to Merriam Webster, Xenophobia is fear and hatred of strangers or foreigners or of anything that is strange or foreign.
Xenophobia defined!
Xenophobia has been taking place since from the year 2000. People got angry because of the lack of humility that got displayed through Xenophobic attacks and started #SayNoToXenophobia.

Public Relations Opportunities for the #tag:
Africa unites against Xenophobia.
1. Xenophobia shows lack of Ubuntu therefore it is upon a PRP to step in and do something about it. As a thought leader you can change people's perspective about Xenophobia through social media platforms.
2.This is a chance to engage with political leaders to summon them to step in and fight against Xenophobic acts through posts, mentions or hashtags since a lot of politicians are active on social media.
3. Since this involves the vast community of South Africa,it is upon the PRP to establish themselves out there and engage with the community of South Africa and hear their take on the #tag this will show that you care for people and their well-being.

Public Relations Misfortunes for the #tag:
1.A portion of South Africans has a general mindset of foreigners being the reason for unemployment
Xenophobic attacks in South Africa,KZN.
which is just unreasonable right?😔😕 therefore it will be hard for PRP's to convince people and remove that mindset since on social media you can not show the emotional side of a situation.
2. PRP's may be hated and bashed for taking the "foreigner's side" in these regards.
3. This #tag is trending on the net and it will be hard for the PRP to communicate with the other general public that does not have social media, therefore your message will reach a minimum number of people.

Recommendations:
1.Be open-minded, because this #tag involves different people from different places.
2.Do not be insensitive because there are people who lost their lives and some got injured through Xenophobia.
We are one!
3. Reply and engage with other people as fast as you can.

  1. I think this should not be a one day topic on social media but a full campaign, as we still have people who live in fear in now.

  2. We are one, humanity should always rule. Everyone is a foreigner somewhere and us chasing other Africassee out of Africa is rude, they are our brothers and sisters. Continue blogging and I'll definitely read your blog

  3. It's upon ourselves to influence one another on such topics. Let's build Africa together.
